HATWALK first took place in Greyfriar’s Kirk in June 2004 as part of the National Week of Hats, and was a resounding success.

Now a formally registered charity, HATWALK has grown every year and continues to raise money to support children’s and educational charities.

As well as the spectacular biannual HATWALK Shows, HATWALK funds educational workshops throughout the year, and runs an annual Summer School featuring Masterclasses by world reknowned milliners.

In 2009, HATWALK received the prestigious Hatty Award from Hat Life.
